Steve was in his mid 50's. Had reported having always feeling extremely negative about his life and also depressed. He wanted to experience some form of happiness. We worked with trying to define exactly what, for him, meant happiness. He defined happiness as being assertive in situations and feeling lighter. We worked with hypnosis and also taught self-hypnosis to help with anxiety levels. He was struggling with things that were happening in his life and we used hypnosis to look at these changes positively and embrace them. We used hypnosis to help eliminate depression and to persevere, letting go of any struggles. We reinforced the sessions and he then began to start looking at things in a more positive light, and looking at things in more constructive ways.
Paul was in his early 60's, suffering with feeling of being let down by his daughter and her husband, and feeling very stressed and anxious about the situation, holding onto extreme anger about what his son in law has done to him and the family. Resulting in panic attacks difficulty in breathing. We worked on the anxiety during hypnosis and taught breathing and relaxation techniques to be used at home to help between session. The second session Paul was already coping a lot better, we then reiterated and reinforced the sessions another few times and at the end Paul, was feeling a lot better about the whole situation and found himself a lot calmer and his panic attacks completely stopped. He was extremely pleased.
Jackie suffered a fear of driving and would have panic attacks, while driving. We talked about when it started, it was after she had given birth to her baby. We decided that it was a fear she had of her babies safety. We did hypnotherapy to help with the fear, and used a phobia script seeing herself and her baby arrive safely at their destination and rewound etc. We did two more sessions to reinforce that and also an anxiety script to help with panic attacks and taught self-hypnosis to reiterate everything. She then found she was able to take her baby happily anywhere.
Sharon, had always suffered from being overweight. She was looking forward to her sons wedding and wanting to lose weight before to look her best. We did two sessions of hypnotherapy to help motivate, using visualisations techniques of how she will look in her new outfit. She also had an extremely sweet tooth and would always be drawn to eating cream cakes. We then did hypnotherapy to help eliminate this. Then more sessions to reinforce and help achieve her goal. She then went on to lose two stone before her sons wedding.
